Our Process
Benefits of Custom Wraps
- Protects Original Paint from scratches and sun damage.
- Removable & Replaceable for easy style changes.
- Affordable Alternative to traditional paint jobs.
- Unique Look that sets you apart from every other car on the road.
Custom Car Wrap Details: Films, Finishes and Process
A custom car wrap changes the look of your vehicle with premium vinyl film instead of paint: a full color change, a partial accent package or custom graphics, all removable later. At IKON Edition in Laguna Hills we wrap cars, trucks, SUVs and exotic and performance vehicles for drivers across Orange County. With proper care, a professional wrap typically lasts 5 to 7 years.
Films we install
We work with films from industry leaders including 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, XPEL and EVOLV. Premium cast films conform to curves, hold their color and remove cleanly, which is what makes a wrap look like paint and come off without damage.
Full wraps, partial packages and custom graphics
- Full color change: every painted exterior panel wrapped in a new color or finish.
- Partial packages: hood, roof, tailgate, mirrors and accents, for a two-tone look or a subtle upgrade.
- Stripes and custom decals: designed for your specific vehicle, precision cut and installed to follow its original lines.
- Chrome delete: trim, badges and window surrounds wrapped in gloss or satin black. See Chrome Deletes.
Luxury and performance vehicles
We create custom graphics for Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, BMW M and more. A recent example: a Porsche Taycan 4S that received a custom hood stripe and matching side decals for a clean, OEM+ inspired finish. We also offer dedicated wrap and protection packages for the INEOS Grenadier Station Wagon, Quartermaster and Fieldmaster.
Our wrap process
- Consultation: we review colors, finishes and samples with you and plan the coverage.
- Preparation: the vehicle is washed and decontaminated so the film bonds correctly.
- Professional disassembly: parts such as handles, badges and lights are carefully removed where needed so the film wraps around edges for a seamless finish.
- Installation: each panel is wrapped, edges are tucked and the film is post-heated so it holds its shape.
- Reassembly and inspection: removed parts go back on and the whole vehicle is inspected before delivery.
What our customers say
“He was able to duplicate the design, remove the old stripes and apply it to the vehicle better than the previous vendor. A pleasure to work with and I would use him again in the future.”
